Simple Past tense in Hindi for all pronouns

For masculine gender

Person Singular Plural
1st मैं पढ़ा | (main padhaa)root of the verb takes the sound of

(आ) -aa at the end for masculine

 

 

हम पढ़े | (ham padhe)root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

2nd तू पढ़ा | (tu padhaa) 

root of the verb takes the sound of

(आ) -aa at the end

 

तुम  पढे | (tum padhe)

root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

 

 

आप पढे | (aap padhe)

root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

 

 

तुम पढ़े | (tum padhe)

root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

 

3rd वह पढ़ा | (vah padhaa)root of the verb takes the sound of

(आ) -aa at the end

 

 

वे पढ़े | (ve padhe)root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

 

 

For feminine gender

Person Singular Plural
1st मैं पढी | (main padhee) root of the takes verb the sound of

(ई) –ee at the end for feminine

 

हम पढ़े | (ham padhe)root of the verb takes the sound of

(ए)-e at the end

2nd तू पढी | (tu padhee)root of the takes verb the sound of

(ई) –ee at the end

 

तुम  पढी | (tum padhee)

root of the takes verb the sound of

(ई) –ee at the end   

 

आप पढी | (aap padhee)

root of the takes verb the sound of

(ई) –ee at the end  

 

तुम पढ़े | (tum padhe)
