Exercise 4.4: Need

This exercise is on Lesson 4.4: “I need in Hindi”. This is a reading practice with a test at the end. Try to translate the Hindi sentences given in the table.

Hindi English
मुझे पानी की जरुरत है |

(mujhe paani kee jarurat hai)

I need water.
मुझे खून की जरूरत है |

(mujhe khoon kee jarurat hai)

I need blood
मुझे पैसे की जररूत है |

(mujhe paise kee jarurat hai)

I need money.
उसे किताब की जरुरत है |

(use kitaab kee jarurat hai)

He needs a book.
हमें बदलाव की जरुरत है |

(hame badlav kee jarurat hai)

We need change.
उन्हें oxygen की जरुरत है |

(unhe oxygen kee jarurat hai)

They need oxygen.
आप को ठन्डे पानी की जरुरत है |

(aapko thand paani kee jarurat hai)

You need cold water.

(try translating yourself) He needs his father.
(try translating yourself) She needs Peter
(try translating yourself) We need water.

    use apne pithaji ki jaroorat hai.
